Integrated version offers real-time visual gas sensing on a map: It displays the type, location, and intensity to the pilot of the gas on the following platforms:

  • DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise – 35 minutes estimated flight time.
  • DJI Matrice 300 and 350 – 35 minutes estimated flight time.
  • Sony Airpeak – 20 minutes estimated flight time.
  • Watts Prism Sky – 30 minutes estimated flight time.
  • Arcsky X55 – 240 minutes estimated flight time.
Data Logging:

Both Standalone and Integrated versions record GPS, time, and data for 14 different gases onto an SD card.

Data Conversion: 

Data collected on the SD card can be converted to a KML format for free at MethaneMapper.com. Please note that this service will eventually become a paid service, but for early adopters, we can provide a free license.

Sensor Array Features:
  • It can detect 14 different gases with one factory calibration, eliminating the need for field calibration.
  • The sensor array doesn’t drift, decay, and requires no maintenance over its lifetime.
  •  The sensor array is equipped with a hydrocarbon sniffer and a Tuned Laser Diode (TDLAS).

Features of the TDLAS sensor:
  • Long-distance detection: Optimal flight height is 100 feet AGL.
  • Anti-cross interference: Specific laser detection reacts only to methane gas, unaffected by environmental conditions.
  • Resolution of 1 ppm·m with ±10% @ 1000 ppm·m accuracy.
  • Tuned Laser Diode: Near-infrared (1653nm) laser safety class Class I.
